Alison has spent all her working life in the independent gift industry in retail buying and sales, dealing with stores and suppliers from all over the world. Catherine has worked in all areas of retail including buying, merchandising, commercial styling, shop layout, residential and commercial interior design.

The sisters have enjoyed the full process of setting up their small business, but most of all building up their loyal customer base, in a store which puts a smile on your face as soon as you enter the door.

They believe in sourcing brands and products from all over the world to bring you something different and unique that you haven’t seen before. Their priority is in selecting items which would be something they would choose to have in their own home, or better yet, to give as a gift!

They are hands on in every aspect of the business, so if you receive a product from Nook Living it is guaranteed to have been packed and posted by one of them (in between the running of the store, posting on socials and of course having a nice cuppa here and there)!!
